Is Yuji Itadori Dead in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213? Check out the Reviews!

With the official release of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 on Sunday, February 12th, horrified fans saw their worst fears confirmed, with Sukuna having indeed taken over Megumi's body.

Even worse, they saw protagonist Yuji Itadori get launched through several builds after a hit from Sukuna.

it then shows the young fighter who appears to have been out-counted, bloodied, bruised, and completely unresponsive.

Although his status has not been confirmed or denied at the time of writing, many fans are anticipating his death from the attack for a number of reasons.

However, with nothing confirmed yet, they shouldn't believe this to be the case given Yuji's role in the series and some of his initial characterizations from a physical perspective.

Stay tuned as this article fully outlines whether or not Yuji Itadori is dead in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213: Is Yuji Itadori really dead?

Although it hasn't been officially confirmed Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213, Yuji Itadori most likely didn't die after the attack Sukuna made on him in the matter.

Considering his role as the protagonist, logic would dictate that he was not dead despite the injuries he had sustained. There was also the fact that Yuji's natural physical strength was said to be much higher than that of a normal human.

Taking these two factors into account, it seems that Yuji Itadori isn't dead yet. However, his current status is being kept under wraps, so fans have no way of knowing for sure. Even so, there is much more evidence to support that he survived the attack than his death.

With that in mind, the real concern after Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 will be how Yuji fares in the jujutsu world, now that he no longer has Sukuna's Cursed Energy.

Both offensively and defensively, Yuji finds himself utterly neutered as a mage, essentially a pre-Annihilation Maki who lacks the requisite training to match what he has.

To put it simply, Yuji realistically couldn't keep up with the jujutsu world where some powerful people with cursed energies and cursed techniques wanted to kill him.

It would be a different story if he had one of these, but all of the cursed Energy he has used in the series so far is borrowed from Sukuna.

Sukuna's streak in the series' Jujutsu Kaisen serves as a reminder of this reality to both Yuji himself and fans reading along.

With no cursed energy or cursed techniques of his own, Yuji is at too much of a disadvantage in battle to have a realistic chance of survival. He may not have lost his life yet, but he's certainly not out of mortal danger at this point in the series.
