One Punch Man Season 3 Finally Comes True

After three years of uncertainty, One Punch Man Season 3 has finally been confirmed.

Of course, this is good news for One Punch Man anime lovers.

A new teaser visual featuring Saitama and Garou has been released, the official One-Punch Man Japan anime Twitter account announced a few days ago. It was drawn by Chikashi Kubota who led the character designs in the first two seasons.

Directed by Shingo Natsume and animated by production studio Madhouse, One-Punch Man Season 1 debuted in 2015.

Season 2, which premiered in 2019, is helmed by JC Staff and directed by Chikara Sakurai.

One Punch Man Season 3 visual focuses on the antagonist Garou

Apart from the fact that the anime will be reprised, no other details about One Punch Man Season 3 have been confirmed on the official website, including the cast.

However, it is highly likely that the main cast will reprise their roles.

Voiced by Makoto Furukawa, who plays protagonist Saitama, and Kaito Ishikawa who voices Genos, both retweeted and commented on the announcement.

The teaser visual features Saitama back-to-back with Garou, one of the main villains of season two, recognizable by his strong and sharp features.

A former disciple of Bang, he is expelled and becomes the self-proclaimed "Hero Hunter".

In the final episode of season 2, Phoenix Man saves Garou from the heroes, with no real conclusion. One Punch Man Season 3 is expected to continue the final season.

The general consensus among OPM fans is that season 1 is superior to season 2 due to the obvious differences in animation quality and direction.

Madhouse, a Japanese animation studio founded in 1972, has produced highly acclaimed works, including X CLAMP, Chobits, Death Note, CardCaptor Sakura, and Hunter x Hunter.

It remains to be seen which animation production house will pick up One Punch Man Season 3, which fans are really looking forward to.
