Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 1 Will Release to the Public Soon

Vinland Saga season 2 episode 1 will air on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. The anime will be available to stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll.

The previous season of the Vinland Saga followed Thorfinn as he continued his quest to kill Askeladd, the man who had killed his father.

The protagonist of the series was about five years old when he witnessed the death of his father at the hands of Askeladd and his henchmen and has since followed them into the life of the plundering pirate.

However, Thorfinn could not avenge his father, as Askeladd was killed at the hands of Canute.

Losing his aim, he attacks Canute as punishment for keeping him enslaved.

Thorfinn will befriend Einar in Vinland Saga season 2 episode 1

Vinland Saga season 2 episode 1 will likely introduce fans to Thorfinn's new life and surroundings while he was enslaved. He bought Thorfinn and another Northern Englishman, Einar, both of whom were put in charge of cultivating the fields and harvesting the crops, which they would soon master.

The upcoming season is set to adapt a slave, as it will follow Thorfinn in his new life in Jutland, Denmark, as he has lost his purpose in life with Canute killing Askeladd.

Thorfinn wanted to kill Askeladd himself because he killed his father, but the opportunity was taken away from him, leaving him with no ambition.

He is now quite sad about his new life, as he will even begin to wonder why he lives and does the good that comes from living.

The protagonist, after befriending Einar, will force him to confront all the sins he has committed as he tries to find meaning in his life. Meanwhile, fans may even get a glimpse of Canute becoming the King of England and starting his quest to expand his territory.

Vinland Saga season 2 episode 1 will premiere on Japanese television networks such as TOKYO MX, BS11, and Gifu Broadcasting. After that, it will premiere on AT-X at 8 p.m. that same day.

The anime will also be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix. Crunchyroll is set to stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East and CIS. Meanwhile, Netflix's schedule and location have yet to be announced.
